I had the privilege of shooting THE cutest maternity session ever: Connie and her sister, pregnant together and celebrating motherhood with their whole family. And because it was Father's day, we made sure to get some cute snaps of daddy and daughter at the end!

Blossoms and bubbles! That was the theme of this family shoot. Nothing brings out the smiles in photo-shy kids like bubbles and play, and this flower-filled setting really made their enthusiasm sparkle!

In the springtime I run special blossom shoots at unique locations throughout Davis, to capture that beautiful time of year between late February and late April when the redbuds, almonds, cherry, plum, pear, and crabapple trees bloom. Davis is a wonderful place for these kinds of shoots, as we have these gorgeous trees all over town!
The Kaminer family and I did their shoot early in the blooming season, taking advantage of the ornamental plums dotting the Wildhorse Greenbelt in late February. With the morning light shining through the blossoms in the background, it turned out to be a truly fantastic shoot!

This little guy! Let me tell you. WHAT a CUTIE! The Clarks and I had a great time exploring the rock garden, chasing squirrels and observing geese (from a safe distance, mind!). Little man brought all the attitude, and we got some fantastic shots together!

I always love getting repeat clients! It's a joy to see how families have grown, and to be able to stage some of my shots with the knowledge of what we did (or didn't do!) last time. It makes for great then-and-now comparisons!

I had the pleasure of photographing the Gutierrez family last year, for their son's 1/2 birthday, and he was just as much of a sweetheart this time as last! We got together in the UC Davis Arboretum's west end for his one year, rockin' a lil cowboy theme. What a cutie!
