I got to shoot this cute little guy--Toby--shortly after a walk, so it was a mellow shoot, full of drowsy puppy-dog eyes and snuggling on the couch (which he has claimed as his own, make no mistake). Every animal has its own unique personality, and it was a pleasure to capture Toby's.

I had the pleasure of photographing 7 month old Ezra on the American River in Sacramento recently. He was a real charmer, giving me all sorts of dramatic expressions--when he wasn't playing in the sand that is.
