This pupper really pulled out the stops for her parents' big shoot! Holiday card, engagement photo, family photo all-in-one. We got big smiles! Looking straight at the camera! Adorable shenanigans! The shoot turned out fantastic overall--great location, great lighting, great subjects.
I confess this was a tough shoot--but I'm proud of the result! Even under the best of circumstances photographing pets is a challenge. Doubly when there are three; triply when there are other dogs walking past while you try and hold their attention! But these pups powered through the temptation of squirrels and the distraction of potential playmates to give us not one, but TWO group photos where everyone is looking at the camera! All in under 30 minutes.
Guess who was having a half birthday? This little guy! He and I became fast friends, let me tell you. He gave me ALL of his best smiles. It's always a delight to photograph an enthusiastic and joyful toddler. Thanks for a great shoot, little pal!
This was my second time photographing the Morrows--the first was for maternity photos at the same location. It was a real delight to get to meet their little one! WHAT an adorable smile!
30 minutes at the UC Davis Arbotreum with this adorable and charming family--what a time! Some posed portraits, some candids, and some fun learning about Oaks!
It was a cool, overcast day--even got a few sprinkles! But that didn't keep us down! The Capitol park was lovely and the smiles bright. What a great family to capture!
Well, I'm finally catching up on some posts this year. Earlier this spring I had the pleasure of photographing the very adorable Lippman family at an Almond Grove just outside Davis. Though it was a bit foggy the blossoms (and the Lippmans) were beautiful! More from this shoot to come.
This past week I got together with one of my favorite families for some family and maternity portraits in the evening sunshine at one of Davis' many parks. I got some great smiles, and will be posting more shots soon of the newest member of the family!
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the Bayless family this morning at the UC Davis Arboretum. There was some heavy fog we had to wait out, but the fading remnants made for some really neat shots.
