Most packages are booked online, with custom and/or weekday packages booked directly through the studio.
➤ PAYMENT & TURNAROUND
A deposit is due to secure your booking, with the balance due at the end of your shoot. Photos are delivered in 5-10 business days; 10-20 business days for custom and specialty shoots.

Fill-in sessions are last-minute sessions offered at a steep discount to help fill last-minute cancellations. They are available about 5-10 times per year at pre-determined locations at specific time-slots. All fill-in sessions include:

rETOUCHING
Retouching includes: skin smoothing, minor blemish/scratch removal, small clothing stain removal, teeth whitening and eye brightening (as needed), removal of minor background distractions, minimizing appearance of flyaway hairs.

Image Manipulation
Image manipulation, often confused with "retouching", are more complex edits to an image which change the substance of the image more significantly than retouching alone. Image manipulations include:
  • Alterations to clothing placement/shape
  • Neck and waist thinning
  • Removal of large/major background distractions
  • Blending of tan lines (including watch tan lines)
  • Removal of baby drool/boogers/spit-up, etc.
  • Face swapping (in large group portraits)
  • Removal of bra straps

Looking for something more specific? Request a custom session to completely customize your shoot to suit your specific needs. Customizable options include:
  • Location: choose any location within 50 miles of Davis (up to 80 miles for shoots $500+).
  • Mobile studio: optional mobile studio backdrop for studio-style shots in place of or in addition to on-location shots. Multiple background colors and styles available.
  • Specialized lighting: get custom and specialty lighting, including colored backlighting, editorial-style and glamour multi-light portrait set-up's, specialized spot and shape lighting, uplighting. and more.
  • Retouching and image manipulation: make specific retouching requests, get specialized color grading, or include broader image manipulation of your photos. Add or remove people from your photos, address location flaws, outfit oopsies, and more.
  • Photo products: Include commemorative flash drives, prints, photo books, and more--custom designed to your specifications.
  • Ultra high resolution: Get your images in ultra-high 6k resolution.
  • Image optimization: Get web-optimized images for quick upload and crisp display on social media and LED/LCD screens; or, get images optimized for print to ensure they're colorful and sharp on paper.
