New Year, New Changes

At the start of every year, I make an effort to update my website and make changes to pricing, packages, and other facets of my business based on needs and trends from the prior year. 2025 was hectic economically, with a lot of rising costs and a rapidly changing internet environment; I've done my best to mitigate pricing increases this year, and have made a few changes that I hope will make the client experience smoother and more straightforward.

2026 Changelog

Changes to travel fees:

• Travel fee for KBP shoot locations in Woodland changed from $0 to $10

Changes to KBP shoot locations:

• Woodland location "East Regional Pond" removed and replaced with the newly opened "Woodland Regional Park Preserve".
• Sacramento location removed: "Discovery Park"
• New Sacramento location added: "McKinley Park"
• New Sacramento location added: "Old Sac Waterfront"
• New Davis location added: "Grasslands Regional Park"

​Changes to the booking calendar, Koalendar:

• Booking calendar integrated/embedded in the Book Photo Shoot page; no more individual booking pages for each photo shoot package.
• Koalendar has made some major changes over the past few months, so the booking calendar for all shoot types has been updated to take advantage of them. The process is largely the same, though a little more streamlined.
• New specialty session types added to the booking calendar - newborns, headshots,  product shoots, and premium shoots..
• Fully custom sessions now bookable through the booking calendar.

New Services

• One-on-one photography lessons are now available! 30 and 60 minute online video lessons, or in-person practice shoots in Davis. For all age levels, experience, and equipment. Bookable via the booking calendar.
• Print, film, and slide scanning and digitization is now available. Contact the studio directly to inquire - pricing is quoted based on project size and scope.
• Film photography will be made available later in the year.

Pricing changes

• Wedding photography packages and pricing updated for 2026, based on changing economic trends and client requests in 2025.
• Processing fees for debit/credit cards, Google and Apple Pay, increasing from 2.5% to 3% to keep pace with rising vendor transaction fees across platforms.
  • Cash and Venmo payments will continue to be processing fee free.

Changes in Editing Turnaround Times

• Editing turnaround times increased to keep pricing stable, with varied turnaround times for basic and seasonal sessions vs. custom and specialty sessions.
• Turnaround time for basic and seasonal sessions: Increased from 4-8 business days to 5-10 business days.
• Turnaround time for custom and specialty sessions increased from 5-10 business days to 10-20 business days.

• Updated review page.
• Minor design changes.
• Portfolio updates.
